v The staff of the Canadian Embassy attended the Training in Human
Resources Principles designed according to the special needs of
participants and upon the assessment conducted by ICVA/CIS
experts.

additional Capacity Building Programme for the staff of SOIR
(Swedish Organisation for Individual Relief) agreed and started
implementation. Training sessions will be held in Novi Sad

Association for Cerebral and Infantile Paralysis of Serbia,
financed by ADRA.

The implementation of the Project on BUILDING
MULTI-STAKEHOLDERS' PARTNERSHIP IN EFFECTIVE COMBATING DRUG
ABUSE AMONG PRIMARY SCHOOL PUPILS started. The 6-month project
is financially supported by the Royal Netherlands Embassy in
Serbia and Montenegro and includes educational training sessions
and workshops for police officers, parents and pupils. The aim
of the project is to create effective links between local
community groups for combating drug abuse among primary school
pupils. ICVA/CIS facilitates dialogue, improved cooperation and
establishment of sustainable links between the local government,
local police and local school to improve the image of civic
activism in the local community, as well as promote community
policing.
